Sarah Le Quang Sang SLQS Gallery has a new space in East London on Club Row. The inaugural group exhibition of female artists is about non-sexual love and desire. Through photo collage, Polly Penrose examines the relationship with her mother, Mia Wilkinson turns the lens on herself with a humorous and grotesque painting where she’s ironing her cat, and Kate Williams’ giant womb-like pouch makes you want to peek inside. I’ve liked the gallery’s programmes from art fairs and pop-ups and this debut show in their space dedicated to women and queer artists only is a strong start. Until 29th March.
