Take a deep dive into the artists’ practices by attending one of our three artist talks. Find out more about what inspired them to make the work they are presenting in our inaugural exhibition ‘A Landscape of Chance’ .
Talks are free to attend but RSVP is essential.
Damaris Athene (b. 1992, UK) lives and works in London. Athene’s transdisciplinary practice explores the posthuman and how lived experience mediated through technology offers new ways of viewing the materiality and potential of the body. Her work inhabits liminal space, slipping between the real and unreal, and swimming through permeable boundaries between bodies, the organic and synthetic, the digital and physical, and 2D/3D space.
Diana Taylor (b. 1977, UK) lives and works in London. Working across painting, print and textiles, and shifting between traditional and digital media, Taylor explores the impact of the past upon the present - living in an age of the ‘re’. The images and processes in the work are linked by a pre-occupation with loss and ruin in visual culture through the circulation, saturation and degradation of files.
